From subsurface evaluation to well construction and monitoring, we provide the technical expertise needed to move carbon mineralization projects from concept toward implementation.

When CO₂ is dissolved in water and comes into contact with reactive rocks such as peridotite, a natural chemical reaction occurs. The CO₂ reacts with minerals rich in magnesium and calcium, forming stable carbonate minerals and effectively turning the carbon into rock.

Unlike conventional storage, where CO₂ remains trapped as a gas or fluid, mineralization transforms CO₂ into a stable solid rock form, significantly reducing the risk of leakage or reversal. Carbon mineralization offers a pathway to permanent carbon removal by using the Earth’s natural geology to transform CO₂ into stable rock.
