Advanced graphene-based oil additives that reduce friction and wear, improve thermal stability, and extend engine and equipment life.
Unlike flat graphene sheets, our additive is built from spherical, multi-layered carbon nano-particles — carbon nano-onions (CNO), 30–60 nanometres across. Dispersed into oil at just 0.1–1% by weight, these particles act like microscopic ball bearings, rolling and sliding between metal surfaces rather than shearing like a flat film.
That structure is what drives the performance: friction cut by up to 80% against base oil, wear reduced 2–10x, and load-bearing capacity that outperforms conventional additives like MoS&sub2; under extreme metal-to-metal contact. The particles are metal-free, chemically inert and low-toxicity — corrosion-resistant and compliant with REACH/EPA standards — and disperse into mineral, synthetic and bio-based oils alike, alone or blended into existing additive packages.
Tribology is the study of friction, wear and lubrication between surfaces in relative motion — the science behind why engines lose efficiency, why gears wear out, and why the right additive can meaningfully extend equipment life. It is the discipline this product is built on: every claim above (friction, wear, load-bearing capacity) is a tribological measurement.
Graphene itself is a single layer of carbon atoms arranged in a hexagonal lattice — one of the strongest materials known relative to its weight, and an excellent conductor of heat and electricity. Beyond lubricants, graphene and its derivatives are used across composites and coatings, batteries and energy storage, sensors, and thermal management in electronics, because the same properties that make it strong and conductive also make it useful almost anywhere a material needs to be thin, tough, and efficient at moving heat or electrons. In lubricants specifically, it is graphene’s layered, low-friction structure — and, in our nano-onion form, its spherical “ball-bearing” geometry — that does the work.
